This small, boxy two-bedroom, one bathroom home has been completely reinvigorated and transformed into a modern four bedroom, two bathroom home. The home owners wanted to maintain the original charm and character of their cottage so, we designed a ground floor home renovation and extension plan that worked sympathetically with the existing bones whilst giving them the practicality and function of a modern home. One of the standout features of this ground floor home renovation is the new open plan dining/living area and remodeled kitchen - new appliances and cabinetry installed by Character Cabinets gave this home a fresh new modern look whilst enhancing the beautiful character features such as the stunning wooden floors! Our clients were able to keep the cottage look of their character home, but now inside have a fresh modern look suitable for their growing family complete with plenty of northern light!
