This modular second storey addition in East Victoria Park was designed to transform an existing timber framed home and create a spacious new retreat for the homeowners. The brief centred on delivering a luxurious master suite while expanding the home’s functionality with minimal disruption to its residents.

Given the complexity of building over a timber framed structure, the project required careful planning and coordination. We delivered the upper level using modular construction, with the modules built off site before being lifted into place and tied into the existing home. This approach allowed the team to complete the on site works in just 12 weeks, while the owners were able to remain living and working in the home throughout the build.

The new level introduces a refined master suite that elevates the overall feel of the property, blending seamlessly with the existing home while adding comfort, privacy, and long term value. The result is a highly considered renovation that delivers both lifestyle benefits and a striking transformation to the home.
