This second storey modular addition in Swanbourne was designed to provide a growing family with the extra space they needed, while creating a private master retreat that makes the most of the home’s elevated outlook. With teenagers still living at home, the brief focused on improving day to day functionality while taking advantage of the views made possible by adding a second storey.

Constructed using Nexus Homes Group’s modular building method, the new master suite was built off site at the company’s headquarters in Cockburn before being carefully installed onto the existing home. This innovative approach helped streamline the construction process while delivering a high quality finish and minimising disruption to the family.

The luxurious new master suite features a spacious ensuite filled with natural light, creating a calm and inviting space to unwind. Recycled Jarrah floorboards add warmth and character throughout, while Caesarstone benchtops and Scyon Linea Weatherboard provide premium finishes that complement both the interior and exterior of the home.
