I can't speak highly enough of the entire experience with Nexus. We needed more room in our house so investigated putting on a second story. Our friends had recently renovated with a second story pod through Nexus and had a great experience so decided to go with them. It was such a bonus not having to move out of our house then entire build, with the team only starting work on site 2 weeks before the pod instal, then completing the job within 12 weeks post instal! Everything went together super smoothly with fit and finish excellent. Any small issue that arose was dealt with quickly by the team and communication was excellent. The quote was competitive compared with a traditional build but so much quicker. Many people have commented how it fits in nicely with the existing house, which was a high priority for us as it's an old character home. Many thanks to the team at Nexus!Posted on GoogleTodd11 days agoIf you're not sure where to start your building journey, I'd highly recommend giving Steve from Nexus a call. Steve was great help providing ideas and exploring different options. He quickly put together a concept sketch and sent it through, which gave us a great visual understanding of what the design could look like. His willingness to share his knowledge, provide advice, and help us refine our ideas made the early stages of the process much easier.Posted on GoogleRakhee martin13 days agoWe are absolutely delighted with the work completed by Nexus Builders on our second-storey extension. From the very beginning through to completion, the entire team was professional, helpful and so easy to communicate with. We truly appreciated their attention to detail, quality workmanship and willingness to work with us throughout every stage of the project. Now that it’s finished, we absolutely love our new space. It has made such a wonderful difference to our family and our home, and seeing everything come together has been incredibly rewarding. A huge thank you to everyone at Nexus Builders for your hard work, patience and support. A special thank you to Steve, who was our initial point of contact and helped us through the design and planning stage, and to Jeremy, our supervisor, who played such an important part in our journey. Jeremy was always available to answer our questions and address any concerns. We would also like to thank Daragh, who stepped in and assisted us while Jeremy was away for a short period. Whenever we needed assistance, the team was incredibly responsive and often there within minutes. That level of support gave us great peace of mind throughout the build. We genuinely appreciate everything Nexus Builders has done for our family and would happily recommend them to anyone considering building or renovating their home. Getting a genuine 5-star review is not easy, especially in the building industry, but when a team delivers exceptional workmanship, communication and support, they truly deserve it. Thank you, Nexus Builders team, for helping make our vision a reality! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+0Posted on GoogleTravis Sprigg21 days agoAwesome experience with our modular two-story construction. Can't speak highly enough of the process and the end result. Not having to move out and there being minimal disruption to have a substantial addition being fully complete within 3 months. The communication, process and overall finish are a credit to Jeremy, Kristian and the team at Nexus.Posted on GoogleMitchell Payne28 days agoWe have recently completed our home renovation with Nexus to transform our 1940's 2 x 1 home into a modern open plan 4 x 2. Nexus had excellent reviews and we decided to use Nexus . The whole process has been great and we are extremely happy with the end result . Nexus advised that it would be 3 months from when the work began to handover and they delivered on there promise and all works were completed in under 3 months . The team were great to deal with at Nexus and a huge thanks to our supervisor Kristian who always went above and beyond for us . If we ever had a issue he was straight onto it and always was very professional in everything he did . It did not matter what time of the day or night it was if we had a issue he would always answer his phone without hesitation . Overall it was a great experience and we would not hesitate in recommending Nexus to anyone who wants to build or renovate . Highly recommend renovating with Nexus!Posted on GoogleBen Titmus40 days agoWe recently completed a 2nd story addition with Nexus and couldn’t be happier with the finished result. The design was spot on and the build itself was really impressive. The modular pod method exceeded all expectations. Once offsite construction commenced timelines were stuck to. Even with some wet weather and 2 kids, we lived in the house the entire time and found it pretty simple to go about our daily lives including working from home. Trades were respectful and Jeremy our site supervisor was fantastic. He was approachable, responsive and clearly took pride in the quality of the work. He kept things moving and was always willing to listen when we had questions and most importantly was proactive in addressing them. While we feel the huge amount of preparation and planning from our side was a key contributor, also want to call out the fact there were no "gotchas" on the cost or scope. A quality job was baked into the contract price, selection prices were fair and provisional sums came under. Looking back, we're happy we made the choice to go with Nexus.Posted on GoogleAdrianne Mencshelyi46 days agoOur extension is AMAZING!! Nexus brought our vision to life faster than promised with no fuss and the smoothest project experience I’ve participated in yet. Max was an absolute gem - excellent communication and problem resolution, and no issue was too big or small for his swift attention. We threw in a few curly ones right from the get go, and the team were always happy to help. We knocked off an existing bedroom downstairs, added an al fresco, added a sitting room, gym room requiring additional weight bearing capacity, office, master, balcony, large WIR and ensuite as well as converting from tile to colourbond. It was no small feat and the day 5 modules were lifted onto the house was pretty incredible. You cannot tell that this was not an original build. You’ve well and truly met the spec Nexus - thank you and we are spreading the word 🙏+0Posted on GoogleTravis Dudumas108 days agoWe couldn’t be happier with Nexus, a great business to deal with!
